Biography

Shawn Lane-Richardson was born in Raleigh, North Carolina to a single mother of two. Growing up he faced many challenges that turned him to church. Ever since he's love the Lord and spread the goodness of being a believer in Christ.
Mr. Richardson started out at The Mount Calvary Word Of Faith Church, under the leadership of Bishop Harold I. Williams, Sr & Pastor Shirley Caesar-Williams. Inside the church Shawn began to sing under the guidance of Pastor Caesar and his purpose to preach from both leaders of the Gospel.
Shawn shared his love for music by recording an Oleta Adams classic, Holy is the Lamb and writing one of his own We've Come Into This House in the late 2014. On November 12th, 2015, Shawn lost his mother due to Cancer at the age of 15.
At this tender age, he began to feel alone and started to give up on school and his community. His Godmother, Felicia; took him under her wings and helped to turn his life around.
In 2018, he went on to graduate from Garner Magnet High School, and went on to enroll at St. Augustine's University, majoring in Business Administration . After completing his degree he would like to continue his education at Fayetteville Technical Community College to study Mortuary Science.
Mr. Richardson has dreams of an Outreach Ministries, instilling youth programs in his community, as well as opening a funeral home to assist those less fortunate.
Shawn currently serves on the Praise and Worship Team and sound technician at Mt. Calvary Word of Faith. Shawn started a digital graphic company in late 2018, which launched socially in 2020.
